26 coffees · 15 roasters
Tropical coffees carry an exotic, vacation-in-a-cup intensity — mango, papaya, and guava overtones that read as a broad tropical character rather than one specific fruit. This is a genuinely separate tasting note from the site's Tropical Fruit collection, not a duplicate: zero of the 26 tropical-tagged coffees also carry a tropical fruit tag. Light roast dominates overwhelmingly (19 of 26, 73%), and natural or anaerobic-natural processing leads by the same margin (19 of 26, 73%) — this vivid, exotic character is built almost entirely by extended fruit contact during drying. Colombia and Panama are tied as the top sources (3 of 26 each), and fruity and sweet notes ride along in most cups (17 and 15 of 26).
