About Brio Coffeeworks
Founded in mid-2014 by Nate and Magdalena Van Dusen, Brio Coffeeworks is a woman-owned specialty roastery, cafe, and retail boutique in Burlington, Vermont's South End Arts District. Nate is a two-time U.S. Roaster Championship finalist (2019, 2020) who builds roast profiles to bring out each coffee's best qualities. They roast on a Diedrich IR 12 and follow a roast-to-order model.
Sourcing & Philosophy
Brio sources from small farms through ethical partnerships aligned with sustainability and low-impact farming practices, selling primarily to cafes, restaurants, specialty markets, and co-ops.
