About Cafe Grumpy
Founded in 2005 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Cafe Grumpy grew from a single shop into a multi-location NYC institution with a roastery, cafe inside Grand Central Terminal, and a name inspired by pre-coffee grumpiness. The logo was designed by co-founder Caroline Bell's brother Andrew Bell.
Sourcing & Philosophy
Sources Fair Trade coffees and roasts daily in small batches at their Greenpoint, Brooklyn roastery. Focuses on direct relationships with producers in Central and South America, and East Africa.
